Different part than advertised

The part listed was to fit 1999 to 2006 gm, but didn’t fit my 2001 gm truck.
The cost to return it would be too high to be feasible.
Now I’m stuck with a part that is of no use to me, and I’m informed that a similar part for my truck doesn’t exist.
I won’t be shopping here again.
